1. Proposal for a new popular music band:

Name: The Cuko Club

Genre: Indie Rock, Alternative, Electronic

Type of act: 4 piece band made up of boys aged from 18-22. A singer, guitarist, drummer and keyboardist make up the band.

Star image: Their star image is made up of a range of meanings which are attractive to their target audience. Some of their values of stardom are; Youthfulness, originality, creativity and talent. They have a ‘naturalistic’ approach and their seeds of success are within them who are only being ‘nurtured’ by the record company. This is the idea of the Organic Ideology of Creativity. They’re music is very math rock style with positive energy and an alternative edge to their sound. It also can be melodious and upbeat. Their fashion also resembles their music as they portray a geeky, quirky, student look which appeals to their target audience and their music.

Target Audience: Students 16+. They appeal to both male and female. They appeal to male as its an all male band but also to female due to the fact that they are all male so its split evenly.
